Natasha Colon Ortiz, also known as Coach Tash, is an artist, teacher, and community leader. Natasha is a proud, island-born, Puerto Rican who also attended school in Holyoke, MA. She graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Studio Arts. Natasha is the owner of Paper City Arts, which provides art services throughout Western MA. Natasha’s body of work includes, but is not limited to, teaching in Holyoke and Springfield Public schools, painting murals, leading workshops for children and adults, and collaborating with well known local agencies such as: Beyond Walls, Community Mural Institute, Holyoke Art, and Nueva Esperanza. Natasha’s eclectic art style is influenced by her culture, her fondness for whimsy, and nature. Her art includes multimedia, fandom, abstract, and gestural art techniques. In any space she occupies, Natasha fosters a fun, creative, and therapeutic space for artistic freedom, centered around art, culture, and community.
