“Glow on the Dam” is a 16x20 acrylic painting capturing the Holyoke Dam at an early fall sunset. Warm light spreads across the water and landscape, reflecting the balance between natural beauty and the historic industrial heart of Holyoke. Part of the WaterPower collection, this piece honors the river’s enduring presence and the quiet glow that defines the city’s connection to its waterways. The painting reflects a moment of calm and radiance—where the power of the river meets the glow of the changing season—honoring the historic role the dam continues to play in shaping the city’s identity. Part of the WaterPower Collection, currently displayed at Holyoke City Hall.
